Two lifts required to access the fifth floor, necessitating a trek across the lobby each time. The second lift only activates with the room card from inside, leaving guests frustrated when cards malfunction, hindering room access during checkout. The bathroom in the family room had a noticeable crack, and oddly, the sink was located in the bedroom-making it less convenient for washing up, especially with nowhere to hang damp towels.

Right by a shopping mall, which was super handy! The rooms felt fancy and had that good ol' air conditioning, bless your heart. Staff was as friendly as a neighbor bringin' you sweet tea. Just wished breakfast had some better choices and didn't feel so all over the place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Novotel Charleroi Centre. The room was exceptionally spacious and spotlessly clean. Conveniently located next to the Rive Gauche shopping mall, it was easy to explore local cafes and restaurants. The staff were warm and welcoming, making my arrival pleasant.

Breakfast could use more variety.

the room was okay, but the furniture was unbearable, like it came from a garage sale. The breakfast left so much to be desired. it was chaos! I expected a little more, maybe a complimentary snack or something after my troubles. never thought I’d be the one needing perks but apparently hotels don’t care about their guests anymore.

Couples seeking comfort

I spent 3 nights in a Superior Suite, and I have to say the shower was something else, really felt like it washed away all the stress from the day. Plus, the air conditioning worked pretty well when I needed a break from that summer heat, kept the room nice and cool.

It wasn't cheap, but given the experience, I can say it was still acceptable.

The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm atmosphere throughout the stay. The central location made it easy to access local shops and cafes, enhancing the experience. However, the breakfast service left much to be desired, as many items were unavailable toward the end of service and lacked warmth. Additionally, the room felt a bit cramped with additional beds set up for the family, impacting comfort during our stay.

Exceptional staff, delicious breakfast, everything was fresh and plentiful, making the start of our day great in a comfortable dining area. The convenient underground parking allowed for easy access to our room, enhancing our experience during our one-night stay.

stayed at novotel for a night and loved it! the location was fantastic, right next to the city center. the breakfast had plenty of fresh options, and the staff was super friendly. a special shout-out to mike at the reception, who helped us out with our taxi issue. there’s also a great fitness center to enjoy!

That was the largest hotel room I’ve ever been to! Super spacious and clean. The bathroom had a fantastic shower that I loved. The breakfast wasn’t great, but I’d still highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay! ☕

Just a balanced option for a walk in the evening in Charleroi with all in all brilliant value for money. The location was convenient, with a shopping mall right nearby for those last-minute necessities. Make sure to check the breakfast hours as it can get a bit hectic during peak times.
